Intimate Elopement At Larsmont Cottages
As I stepped through the threshold of the Fitzgerald Manor, I noticed this was the only wedding I had photographed without getting prewedding jitters (yes the photographers get those too, lol). The reason for this though, was that I knew I could be relaxed in this environment. I knew at least half of the people here, and was already comfortable around the other half. You see, this wedding, was my sisters. Going through and editing these photos, reliving the day with mere seconds missing from my record, one thing stands out to me. I was the only person who got to be there, witnessing and recording every tear jerking, jaw ropping, roll on the floor laughing moment. Which means I was the only member of my family who got to see the look on Kathryns' face when she saw Scott waiting in the library for their first look (sorry mom, lol). And I think that look says it all. All the love and dreams they have for each other; and the realness of what they were doing shows in that one photo (lies. There are two photos.. You're welcome). Kathryn and Scott, when I see you two together, you just fit. You're two very gentle, supportive peas in a pod (try saying that 10 times fast), and I am so happy for you baby sister. Thanks to the both of you for asking me to do this. It was a bomb weekend with some truly breathtaking moments. Wishing you a long, happy life together.
