Case Family Session at Furman University, SC

I will never forget this family, or what they did for my sister and I. I will never forget walking up to shake Karens hand and instead, receiving the warmest hug, I have possibly ever had. The Case family heard of me through my sister, who lives on the other side of the country. I remember sitting on the phone with her while cleaning the kitchen, and she was telling me how they wanted a family session because they had family home from out of the country, but all of the local photographers were booked.
"Send them my way, I'll do it!" I said sarcastically. The next day, I received an email from Karen, explaining the situation, and what their needs were. I was ECSTATIC! Three weeks later I was flying down to South Carolina for my first travel job. I remember hopping out of the car to meet them. Leaves rustled in the magnolia trees, the clouds covered the sky. It was a chilly fall day. Even for a Minnesotan. As we had the session, I honestly enjoyed getting a glimpse at this family. I dont often get to see families that are THIS connected. This accepting. THIS supportive! It was beautiful, they were happy, encouraging, going with the flow of things, and so, so kind. I truly hope I get the pleasure of working with them again some day. Once in a while you will meet people breifly who change your whole day for the better, and help you reflect on the way you want to treat others.. the person you want to be. The Case family are those kinds of people. Thank you so much Karen, as well as all of you; for loving on my sister and I, and changing our lives for the better.
